Worked great... for a little while

We bought this to rinse our cloth diapers in the toilet. It is very handy for that purpose. We went with this product over the Bum-Genius brand because it's about $40 cheaper and some sources claimed it was the exact same product, only different and generic packaging. It was easy to install (my wife did it in a jiffy with no help and no mess to my surprise!) and it is easy to use and very powerful. Those are the positives. Now for the negatives: It leaks a bit at the sprayer and at the plumbing connection, though not often or consistently. We did find that after you turn the lever to the off position when you're finished you need to give the sprayer one last squirt and shake it out over the toilet to relieve the pressure and empty what's in the shower head. This helped cut down on the leaking. The water tube is nice and thin, but it's a clear plastic. Over time (less than a year) it turned a cloudy yellow color ... not attractive at all! After a few month's use we also noticed the sprayer button began to stick. This was a nuisance, but didn't bother us that much since we know our hard water causes stuff like this to happen. Lastly (and the main purpose for writing this review), the sprayer button broke on me today during use. It did not get jammed or stick or anything like that which would cause me to force it to break, it simply broke with normal use. The button face and connecting lever are plastic and it broke at the inner joint where it attaches to the lever which controls the water flow. So now nothing happens when I press the button and I'll need to replace the whole unit. I'm not sure if there's a warranty, but I might as well check now. We used it multiple times daily for about a year, but we were really needing it much longer as we plan to cloth diaper our coming child and however many after that. I was not anticipating the product to wear out as quick as it did and break like this so soon. I was hoping to make one long-term investment, not an annual investment....

Great customer service

I received this sprayer as a shower gift and waited until my baby was 6 months old to install it. Sadly, once installed only a trickle of water came out. Nowhere near enough to spray a diaper clean. But one call to the company's customer service line and they sent out another valve immediately. The water pressure is now very strong, but easily lowered by adjusting the valve. My only suggestion would be to install it a little before you NEED it, just to work out the kinks.

Works great!! Even after a year. But....

I purchased this spray to clean my baby's cloth diapers. Initially, when I purchased this product, the connecter for the spray didn't screw onto the toilet. My husband tried for a few hours without success. However, when I contacted customer service, the guy on the phone said they would send a new connect free of charge and shipped it fairly quickly. We hadn't had any problems or leaks until about a year later. The button to spray "clicked" and cracked. The spray stopped working. I thought i have to buy a replacement. Having a good experience with customer service last year, I called them again. He told me how to remove the button by pulling out the pin. He said that the button has a LIFETIME WARRANTY; although the rest of the parts of the sprayer I think is a one year warranty (written on the package). They are working on improving the button. He said that they'll send a replacement free of charge.Overall, the sprayer works as described. Since the product had a couple problems and took some time to troubleshoot, I'd give the product a 4 stars instead of 5. I do have to stress that the customer service is exceptional especially when the parts of the product aren't working right. The company makes an effort to correct the problem and sends out the replacement free of charge and ships on a timely manner.
