Gorgeous Light - Real conversation piece

We bought this light to go in our entryway that doesn't have extremely tall ceilings but it is quite long, so the rectangle shape of this light is just perfect. It looks amazing and we have received so many remarks and compliments on this fixture. It is really great quality but changing the bulbs is a little tricky. Nothing that is a deal breaker, though. Over all we really like it and would recommend it.

OK but small

A little smaller than what I expected. Also, the light bulbs are the small candelabra kind. I will have to buy all new bulbs and make sure we now have two different kinds of bulbs in our home. Other than that it looks OK.

Adds "wow factor"!

This looks great over a the dining table. Added some "wow factor" to a dull space! Many pieces to put together but followed diagram to make assembly easier. Metal trim really looks more black than bronze, but either color would have been fine for my needs.

Nvidia GTS250 from Galaxy tech

The GTS250 from Galaxy Tech is a OK card that was able to play most games on High settings and handled Crysis to an extent. Kinda funny how Crysis always used as general testbed for performance. But it true, it is quite demanding on the entire system.Anyways, it played Crysis on high settings, AA on x8, 1600x900 at about 40 frames per second. - not too bad really.This is a good card to buy if you are on a budget however, you might want to be prepared replace it in about a year. Which is exactly what I had to do. Im under the impression that cards by galaxy might not be of the highest quality, so I took mine apart after it met an untimely death due to failing video RAM.Anyways here is what I saw. After a year of use the thermal compound placed between the fansink and the processor was still in great condition. Nice and moist. The Pcb seemed to be high quality but however I have seen much better pcb soldering from other companies. But this card run very cool. I have never seen it get above 70 degrees CNow the bad: my frame rates dropped with in the last few months of usage. Some games would refuse to go into full screen mode stuck in a little 800x600 box in the middle of my screen. And then it got to the point where games would quit working and shut down on its own with a wonderful little error message.Galaxy is cheaper than the rest but they also dont last as long. Not in my case anyways. :b no pun intended.

Great bargain but fan is a little noisy

This card is the best bang for the buck out there, I got mine for 53.99 with free shipping. Amazing performance for the price, I can barely notice the difference between this card and my old GTX 260 216 at 1680 x 1050. I get a solid 60fps in NFS hot pursuit 2010 with everything on and I never go below 40fps in Batman : Arkham City with FSAA set to med with my 2500k @ 4.0 Ghz/8GB ram. Mine Idles about 46 - 48C and has never gone over 75C in any game on auto.The only con is the noise, its loud really loud at idle and just plain ridiculous at load. I wish I could get the fan speed under 40% at idle but no software will allow it. Its really unbearable. It is really the loudest fan in my Carbide 500R. I might remove the fan and add a 120mm. Overall a good purchase but the fan noise might drive you insane.Update: I did replace the galaxy/evercool fan with a 120mm rosewill fan I had laying around. The mounting method was crude ( I used 2 twist ties to fasten it) but the fan noise has decreased so dramatically it's amazing. I can barely hear it, since the fan was a 2pin fan it doesn't scale with the temps and runs 100% all the time but 100% is easily 3-4 times quieter than 40% on the galaxy fan. Idle temp seems to be 47-49C and load temp is 70-74C.

Not a bad deal at all for the price...

I got two of these cards running sli.. Thinking about adding the liquid thermal paste to cut down on the heat though.. some arctic silver.. they run between 63-82c.. normally right about 68-74c.. The graffix are superb and built with quality in mind..I run wow at 125-150 fps maxed setting 1920x1080... runes of magic I get over 100 fps in areas but both games run smooth pick up two.. well worth the money !!!

Perfect size for bar, love the color and material

As I wrote in my review for the full size version of this product, I am very pleased with this sink material, color, and design. The bar sink is a perfect "bar" size and modern slightly curved shape that perfectly matches my transitional dark brown textured shaker style cabinets and white flecked countertop, along with stainless steel faucet. This is a great undermount sink if you are looking for something to blend nicely with granite, and you don't care for stainless steel. The install went well, and it is the perfect size for a bar unit.
