Wheel got here in a short period of time

I purchased this to go with an adapter to power my smart phone. It seems to work really well. It starts to charge at around 10 mph. You really can't tell it is on the bike it has no drag to it and works really nice.

Great looking and well made saddle, though very firm

There's not a single review of these saddles online as of writing this (afaik) so I ordered the brown and white seats sight unseen on a slight gamble.Firstly, they look great and feel well made. Around this price range there's a lot of poorly made saddles look and feel slapped together, but there's a genuine impression that all city made these with some attention to detail and decent taste. I even like the logo, though I'm assuming it'll be rubbed off over time.I was concerned about the the brown as the photos all looked a bit lighter and less rich than other brown leather colors you usually see on saddles and grips. They are pretty much that in real life too. As a comparison, Fizik and Deda brown grip tape are both slightly richer in color, but it's not so much that they're a mismatch and I'm hoping some patina will balance it out, or maybe even some oil if that doesn't do the trick. The white is great, and the all city site has a pic of how it looks like a bit weathered too.Only gripe is that though they're padded decently, they're still *really* firm - firm enough on the sit bones that even after adjusting it right, I'm kind of dreading a break in period. That said, I hope there's a payoff at the end of a break in period and it's not going to stay so hard altogether. The leather isn't so much the issue (so no chemical softener will likely help at worst case like an all leather saddle)as is the underlying firm foam. I'm using the brown one to begin with and unless it does show it's going to soften up a bit, I may return the white one I bought for my wife. A half hour ride won't hurt you on this, but a few hours probably will if it stays the same.I'm guessing that these aren't great exposed to rain as the foam will soak through the perforations too. A simple cover will get around this.I'll try to update this review and rating over time with how the break in goes.

Triton Titanium and Stainless Cross ... Nice!

I was looking for something to express my Christianity, and a reminder of it. As such, I didn't want to "cheap out", but didn't want to break the bank either.I wanted a cross of decent size, with nice weight. But not tacky or too overstated. Something masculine without being too big or blocky. Lastly, it needed to have a nice chain that wasn't too long since I'm not a tall guy.This necklace was one of several that fit the bill. I looked at several versions, and when I got stuck deciding, I asked my teenage daughter which she liked best. This was her choice.The box chain is nice and solid, and I think it's about 22" long. The pictures really don't do the diamond accents on the cross justice, they add a definite "sparkle" to the industrial look of this beautiful piece. Overall the cross is roughly 1.25" wide and 2" high, with a nice weight.It is shipped in a tough looking metal box... well protected.I'm pleased with it, and if this is your style I think you will be too!*EDIT*I have had this necklace for over a year, and have only taken it off for medical procedures (couple hours total, tops). It has held up great, no scratches on it and only some faint "burnishing" on the front edges. It is definitely built for the long haul.

These are the best cantilever brakes I have ever used. They are absolutely as good as any caliper brakes. I have never been more satisfied with a purchase. If you aren't happy with the stopping feel of your canti's, don't hesitate.

Can't beat the quality or stopping power of these brakes! Not a fan of the new disk brake "revolution" (none the top 10 elite men had disk brakes at cyclocross worlds this year).

Canti brakes worth a damn

Let's put it this way, there's a reason mountain bikes evolved away from canti brakes to begin with. They generally suck at stopping. When I started cyclocross racing, I was frustrated that cantilever brakes were the norm, and at the time, regulation. The first pair of cantis I had were the TRP Euro X's (horrible stoppers). I upgraded to these and am very happy with them. I highly recommend. Until they come up with something better (cyclocross disc brakes need quite a bit of improvment too, from what I've heard), I'm running these puppies.

29er strait and true.

Arrived in a big oversized box. No need to tap or clean out factory holes. Disc break lined up perfectly. Installed a Shimano HG51 8-Speed Cassette. Installed a valve stem keeper (drilled out valve stem hole to fit keeper). Ruffing up inside of rim edge is a good idea so that the tire does not spin on the rim and break the valve stem. Had problems with that in the past, no longer an issue. Reason why I went with this hub configuration is because I keep twisting the freewheel axel under heavy pedaling. Cassette type not an issue. Hub axel fit was perfect. Did however had to got to local bike shop for a "quick release", they shipped a front instead of a rear.
