Makes just enough light for the living room we put it in. It's got a nice warm glow. Not an overly bright light, but it's perfect for the small room it's in. Bought a second one for a bedroom, and it's just as nice...with a different design. Glad I bought them..you can't find this kind of quality in home improvement stores, that's for sure!

Adorable ceiling lights, but hard to install.

Now that these lights have been installed, I love them. There is no way I'd find this type of quality or styling at a local lighting store or a place like Lowe's/Home Depot. I looked for two full months before finding and ordering these fixtures. The design suits my Arts & Crafts house and the light is just the right size for the large rooms. It gives off a nice warm glow but still emits sufficient light, plus the design is very sweet, without being campy or cutesy. But the light is difficult to install; the mounting screws and grounding wire are very short and there is absolutely no room for error. I had to hold each fixture up while my contractor did the wiring and installed each lamp. So unless you are very handy or have a qualified electrician or contractor to assist you, I'd think twice. Otherwise, I'd give these fixtures all 5 stars.
