Daughter Loves it

My Daughter just received one from the grandparents. She loves it. It will play CDs and has an input for her MP3 player. It is much better made than other microphones or karaoke type mics/amplifiers we have given her in the past. The mic has the larger 1/4inch connectoer so she cannot bend it. She likes the on off switch on the mic. I like the fact that is dos not use batteries!!! I am buying another mic (it will take 2) so her sister can sing with her.)

Great fun- lasted only a few days

My daughters got this as a Christmas present and several CD's to go along. However, after a few days, the CD player quit reading the CD's- it just skips and makes a horrible noise. (these CD's are brand new, so are not scratched). The microphone still works and the girls love that part. The CD player is not of high quality- I would not reccommend this for anyone.

I am shocked at the price of this CD player on Amazon.com. It is a very popular toy and sold out online at Walmart and Toys R Us, but I was able to pick it up at Big Lots for $45.00! It hurts my head to think that people are spending twice that or more! Do yourself a favor and wait until your little girl's birthday or Valentine's Day to fulfill this wish! It is worth the $45, but with no radio, not worth twice that!
