Cutting and programming

Had this flip key cut and programmed at a VW dealer. Cost was $10 for cut and $69.95 for programming. They warned me that because the unit was not a VW store bought item they could not say for certain that the program would 'take' and I would still be charged. Stuck to my guns and had it programmed and just as the seller said, all was perfect.
