Clear The Air Merv 8 filters effectively remove 85% of airborne particles. Our Merv 8 filter eliminates allergens such as dust, pollen, mold spores, and pet dander. Our advanced pleat technology provides less air flow resistance, with higher efficiency. Our Merv 8 high capacity pleated filters are offered in ASHRAE 52.1 and 52.2 (MERV) ratings and are built to withstand rigorous conditions. The high capacity design contains more pleats per foot resulting in a longer filter life. Clear the air Merv 8 High Capacity filters are available in 47 sizes so you are sure to find what you are looking for. Clear The Air Merv 8 high capacity pleated filters are available in 1", 2" and 4" depth. The electrostatically charged 100% synthetic graduated density media is continuously bonded to a 30 gauge galvanized, corrosion resistant, expanded metal support grid with an effective open area of 96%. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth. The controlled pleat spacing maximizes surface area and dust holding capacity and is bonded to the enclosure frame to prevent dust bypass. The enclosure frame is constructed of high wet strength moisture resistant beverage board. The diagonal support members of the frame are bonded to the entering and exiting apexes of each pleat to prevent pleat collapse and filter bowing.

They are easier to change than the locally available filters

I purchased these filters because they are ~3/8-inch smaller in width and depth than the filters available at local hardware stores but otherwise seem identical in function and cost. They are much easier to install and remove from the filter box on the furnace (at least on my furnace).

Clear The Air delivered my hard-to-find 20x24x1" furnace filters well ahead of the promised date. Their high capacity Merv 8 pleated furnace filters are a real good buy! They are quality filters, and their price was the lowest. The box of 12 filters appeared to have taken a hard hit during shipment, and 3 of the filters were damaged. Clear The air responded by sending my another box of 6 filters for free. When these run out, I will definitely buy from them again! I recommend that you buy from them too. You'll save money!
