Ok but better ways to spend money

It gets three stars because it does what it says; However, it's a cheap product and you're better off spending a little more for a true box springs or just buy some flat planks for your foam mattress. After two days, one of the boards has broken.

This is absolutely a piece of junk. I don't know how on earth anyone can give it 3-5 stars. out of 6 bolts, only 4 fit into the holes, and most of them I had to jam it in. The drill holes do not align and the wood comes warped (not due to shippment, but it comes warped). For a person like me who is not handy, do not even attempt to buy this piece of junk. You will have a hard time returning it. I guess you can try your luck to get one with perfectlly drilled holes? for me, i was not that lucky!

Ultra sturdy with slight modifications

I ordered the queen foundation for a Sleep Innovations memory foam mattress. I'll list all of the things most people might be interested in.Packaging - Decently packaged, nice tough double cardboard (This is from DynastyMattress through Amazon). Nothing was damaged.Wood piece quality - Seems very sturdy but lightweight. There was only one slat that had a small split but it didn't affect the structural integrity. Few to no splinters throughout.What's in the box - 6 wood section pieces. 2 length end supports (rounded edges), 2 width end supports, 1 center support, 1 bound piece of center slats. - The slats are bound together by a tough fabric strip. Also included are 6 bolts (with washers and nuts), 6 screws and easy to follow simple directions.For a queen there are 11 slats and the spacing is anywhere between 4"-4 1/4". That seemed a little far for me but it turned out perfectly fine for my memory foam mattress.I didn't like how the 11 center slats were just to be held in by 6 screws, leaving many feeling loose. This might not be a problem with a mattress on top but I wanted it to be extra sturdy.Modifications - I wanted to screw each of the 11 slats to the edges and center supports. That meant 33 screws. I used the 6 provided and another 26 to do this. IMPORTANT: I drilled holes through the slats before screwing so I wouldn't split the wood.It didn't take too long and I have a ridiculously sturdy foundation now. I would recommend taking this extra step to anyone capable.
