A beautiful dress, indeed, but buyer beware!

I bought this for my girlfriend. It's a very beautiful dress; it really is a work of art, and looks so nice that you wish it didn't have to be worn in the first place. I think it's such a lovely dress I would consider buying every color variation of it in the future and present them on mannequins like museum pieces.I do think you should take these precautions before you buy this though, if you plan on wearing it:1. Even at a size XL - the size I bought - make sure the person wearing this is 5'10" or shorter. This chemise is surprisingly short and will fit close to her chest for it's size. Any girl taller than 5'10" would probably be revealing her undies, because the chemise ends close to the groin. Buy a size XL even if you do not typically.2. Hand wash it. Their are small beads and discs attached to the chemise and you wouldn't want these things potentially clogging your plumbing or washer if they came off. Just put a wash cloth over the drain and wash it to prevent this.

Not what I expected

Do not like the material at all, rough against your skin, almost like a scrubby pad. It is much shorter than the picture. Hits right above the crotch area. If you had any stomach at all it would be even shorter. And the material it's made of it will never hang like in the photo.Returning it for a refund.
