Product Description
Are you looking to upgrade your AR stock to the next level? If so, look no further than our new Mil-Spec AR T6 Stock. The 6 position adjustable stock allows you to fit the rifle to your needs and has been built to meet all military specifications. Our extension tube is second to none and just like the stock body, meets all military requirements. What does this mean for you? First and foremost, you get the best possible fit between the stock body and the tube, cancelling any rattle that might occur with cheaper stocks. Secondly, the tube is crafted from the same aluminum that most AR receivers are made from, ensuring a much stronger part. Each tube also has its threads rolled on as opposed to having them cut into the metal like most other extension tubes today. Lastly, the inside of the tube has been coated with a Mil-Spec dry film lubricant that not only keeps the action quieter, but reduces metal-on-metal contact, extending the service life of your buffer. Throw in a grit blasted finish which enables our tube to have a non-reflective surface, and you have the best Mil-Spec extension tube on the market. Oh, and did we mention the tube is 100-Percent made in the USA? We have pulled out all the stops to create and craft the best Mil-Spec AR stock on the market. You know its time to upgrade your AR and the only place to start is with the Intrafuse Mil-Spec T6 Stock.

Should cheaper presume incomplete, incorrect or potentially unsafe?
By R. VonCamper
Received my Tapco Mil-Spec AR T6 Collapsible stock in quick order, all parts there. Assembly was quick but upon visiting my range I noted that my rifle would misfeed/jam or not fully advance the round altogether. Out of 20 rounds placed through the weapon, I found well over half misfed with remainder dimpled primers/no fire; only 5-6 accurate shots sent downrange without difficulty or issue (this with quality military issue type ammo of same batch shot out of other rifles on the same day... no, it wasn't the ammo). After thinking other parts or problems could be the issue: feeding ramp, BCG (Bolt Carrier Goup)or its washers, etc., I came to the conclusion that two things were wrong: Tapco (no fault of the retailer sending this to me, this was Tapco's mistake from what I believe...) fitted this kit with a longish buffer (aluminum=cheap), as well as the incorrect spring.I own an M4A1 carbine, a new build from parts of different but reputable manufacturers, and I presumed perhaps incorrectly that since the inclusive parts for this kit that I ordered stated both Mil-Spec, and more impotantly "carbine" multiple times on it, I would get a carbine length spring and buffer tube... this was not the case for the kit I received. After much research (I'm new to the AR platform build), I learned that the carbine length spring differs from a rifle length, and though both may be used for the AR platform, but both very different, especially if used with the wrong buffer lenght tube. The carbine length spring should have 39 coils and a corresponding, specific length range (which I don't have commited to memory). The rifle lenght has 44 coils and slightly longer spring. The spring that came with my Tapco kit had 44 coils... the wrong spring for the kit, not carbine lenght, clearly. To continue, in comparing the buffer I had received with this kit with a friend's equipment, my buffer was quite nearly 3/8" longer. Between the additional length of the non-carbine lenght spring coils AND the elongated buffer, when the assembly was put together in a buffer tube of specific length, the whole packaged unit length compressed of buffer and spring would not allow the rearward cycle of the Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) to happen, this a necessity to have a properly firing rifle. In addition, this condition, a potentially dangerous one from what I read, also would not allow me to lock open my bolt.To test my findings I was lucky enough to have my friend's rifle available to swap out the parts in question, the spring and buffer; once I did my AR worked flawlessly.Though I won't post what I did to correct the problem, I did want to say that I expected more from Tapco. To my best estimate, they sent at least one incorrect part in this kit, as well as send another that may also have been incorrect (too long and fabricated of cheap materials); this caused my rifle to not operate correctly.I can only guess how Tapco put together parts kits in batches or lots, and while I can appreciate the potential complexity of that, especially if the product is put together in some foreign warehouse, I lose some of that appreciation if the product I receive causes my rifle not to work, perhaps placing it in a state of dangerous condition. On an upnote, I'm very pleased with the multiposition stock; for the price it particulary delivers in the area of function and appearance, yet both function and appearance can't overshadow the orginal issues, and for this Tapco draws a very average rating from me. From my perspective, no matter how cheap or expensive the product is, it should work when received and immediately allow for the safe operation of the weapon it is designed for.

Stock rattles
By James Hassell
The buffer tube and castle nut were well constructed and assembled with no problems. The buffer and spring seemed well constructed also. The stock slides back and forth 6 positions but shakes/rattles in each position. The stock is not correctly fitted to the buffer tube.

Great stock
By kennypowers
This is a really nice stock kit, good quality product. The small details are why I gave it five stars. On the buffer tube nut there is a indent that can be hit with a punch. This will prevent the nut from ever backing off.
